What is the easiest way to see results FAST?

The answer is really quite simple…

FOOD!!

If you’re struggling to see results or are someone who wants to start your fitness journey, the fastest way is by changing your diet. Your body will react very quickly to this change if you’re consistent. Even if you haven’t started to workout in the gym yet, you can see results!

I know multiple people who went years in the gym without seeing much progress. Once they change their diet, it’s like magic. They start shedding pounds way faster than any gym routine would have allowed them to do.

So why is this?

Think about it this way. It’s REALLY easy to eat a meal with 1,000 calories. Now try burning 1,000 calories in the gym. You’d probably have to run 5+ miles to do so. So what would you rather? Just not take in the 1,000 calorie muffin and starbucks coffee or run 5+ miles daily?

It’s way easier to not take in those extra calories. Maybe not mentally, but once you see results it becomes an addiction. On top of it all, on the rare occasion you allow yourself to have a cheat day you’ll notice how awful that meal will make you feel afterwards. You’re body will start to get used to the healthy ingredients you’ve been consuming and you’ll feel more energetic.

How do I know what to eat?

I tell all my clients to use the myfitnesspal app. You should have a general idea of how many calories your body is burning daily. Whether it’s from a smart watch or a dexa scan, knowing how many calories you’re burning on a daily average will be very helpful. Now you can start logging everything you’re eating into the app. This will tell you if you’re in a caloric surplus or deficit. You should be in a slight deficit if you’re trying to lose weight and a slight surplus if you’re typing to gain muscle mass.

If you don’t want to drive yourself crazy with the app, a good rule of thumb to go by is to simply get a protein in with every meal. If you’re doing this, there’s a good chance you won’t take in too many calories or carbs. Don’t get me wrong, you definitely want well balanced meals with proteins, fats and carbs, but if you’re always getting protein in you’ll feel fuller and likely eat less calories.

Change your diet, change your body. This works for any scenario. Losing weight, gaining muscle mass, maintaining etc. Play around with it to find meals you enjoy and fit your goals then stick with them. I eat almost the same thing every day week to week and it WORKS. I found what works for me and you can figure it out too! It takes time, but it’s worth it and will allow you to see progress faster than ever before.
