How long does it really take to physically see progress?

2 weeks? 1 month? 3 months? 6 months? 1 year?

What’s the realistic time table for physically noticing a change in your body?

Unless you’re competing in a bodybuilding competition and it’s your full time job to shape your body, you won’t realistically see much change until after the 1-2 month mark. This will also change based on your fitness level.

If you’re a newbie to the gym and are just starting out, you’re likely to see progress pretty fast. Your body hasn’t experienced consistently working out before, therefore it will react quickly.

Now if you’ve been consistently training for a while and want to see more of a change, it may require more effort and time. Your body will need to experience something different to force the change, whether it be a different style of working out or a new diet.

Despite all that, here’s the secret to change…

Diet.

If you make a drastic change in your diet taking in more or less calories, protein, fats, carbs etc. you will absolutely see a change and relatively fast. If you’re consistent for 1 month, you’ll likely see a change.

However, this will only happen if you’re VERY disciplined. If you are, you WILL see change. It’s the key to the entire operation. Diet.
